The mirror must be set-up close to a dedicated outlet. That means that it cannot share an extension cord with the DJ. We need about 10x10 feet of space. More is always better! It needs to be on carpet or flooring. It cannot be on grass or dirt or anything wet. The mirror is over 200 lbs and does not do stairs. If there is a step or two, we can accomodate that but the mirror does not go up stairs. Please make sure there is a ramp to enter the building and a regular sized elevator if not on the ground floor. If the venue can supply a 6 or 8ft table for us that is a bonus!
Yes and No. The Magic Mirror is similiar to a TV outside. The animations cannot be seen if out in the sunlight. However, we have done many events using a 3 sided black tent that we provide for an additional charge. We have a table with props outside the tent and the mirror and printer inside the tent. The mirror and electronics do not big tempature changes. Neither very hot weather or cold weather are conducive to the workings inside in the mirror. So, yes, although not totally ideal, we do and have done events very successfully outside.
Congratulations! You have made a wonderful decision! We have made the booking process very easy for you! You can begin by either placing an inquiry for your event date by clicking the "Submit Inquiry" button or simply booking by clicking the "Book Now" button. Packages that are 2-3 hours require a $300 non-refundable retainer and 4 hours and higher require a $400 non-refundable retainer to reserve the Magic Mirror for your date/event. Our contract is contained in the booking process so look it over and click the "Agree" box to move forward. Next, you simply put in your credit card and your date will be confirmed! The balance will be due 30 days prior to the event. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. If you are booking the Magic Mirror within 30 days of your event, the entire cost will be due up front. A Memory Book is a high-quality photo book that is made throughout your event by printing off an extra copy of every picture and adding it to the book. Next, your guests can sign the book or leave a nice message for you. Clients LOVE this option because it becomes a wonderful keepsake from their big day or event! This is included in the The Ulitimate Enchanted Wedding and an add-on option for the other packages. Check Add-ons for prices.
Optimum set up space 16 x16 ft.. This leaves enough room for backdrop, carpet and props table. However, if space is limited we can minimize set-up to work within a smaller space but please let us know ahead of time! We will also need access to power within 10ft of set up space.
Depending on location and layout of venue, it should take about 60-90 minutes. If there are certain times you would like us to set-up so it will not interfere with your event, just let us know and we will do our best to accomodate you!
Bookings are taken well in advance, therefore to secure your date we would advise you to book as soon as your event is confirmed. Keep in mind we are very busy during peak wedding season and for holiday parties and weekends. We will always try to accommodate last minute bookings depending on availability but don't wait and book as soon as you are able!
